Plain-English details about what Open Model Lab stores, syncs, and sends in the current product: local-first progress, optional accounts with account-linked sync for signed-in learners, Stripe-hosted billing, and separate analytics or ad switches when enabled.

Browser storage comes first

Open Model Lab saves learning progress in this browser by default so the core product works signed out.

That local progress can include concept history, continue-learning state, review cues, and other study state tied to this browser. Clearing site data or switching browsers can remove or separate that local state.

Accounts and synced study data stay bounded

If you sign in, the app stores the account information needed to authenticate the session and resolve free versus premium access.

Core learning progress sync uses the existing account backend for any signed-in account, while premium-gated features such as saved setups, saved compare setups, exact-state sharing, and advanced study tools stay bounded to the premium layer where those features are actually implemented.

Feedback and support messages are optional

If you use the feedback form, the app can send your message, page context, and any reply contact you include to the configured support inbox through the existing server-side delivery path.

If direct delivery is unavailable, the site keeps the mailto fallback visible instead. Do not send sensitive information you would not want copied into a support thread.

Stripe handles checkout and billing

Premium checkout and subscription management are handled through Stripe-hosted pages rather than custom card forms inside the app.

The product stores only the billing facts needed to connect a Stripe customer or subscription to your account and update the app's premium entitlement state.

Ads and analytics are optional and separate

This deployment may enable lightweight analytics for page and learning-signal events. Analytics is optional and separate from advertising.

When ads are enabled, the product uses manually placed Google AdSense units on selected discovery pages only, not on the main concept lab or challenge surfaces.

You keep basic choices

You can use the core learning product signed out, sign in only when you want account features, or contact support with questions about privacy, billing, or saved data.

For billing-specific questions, use the public billing path below or email support directly.

Advertising and third parties

When advertising is enabled, Open Model Lab uses manually placed Google AdSense units on selected discovery pages. Premium accounts stay ad-free.

Those advertising requests may involve Google receiving standard browser, device, and page information under Google's own systems and policies. The app keeps advertising off the interactive concept lab, challenge flow, and other core teaching surfaces.

Read Ads and sponsorship for the current placement policy, or use Contact if you need to ask about this launch version directly.
