Ads and sponsorship

Free discovery pages can carry ads. The core learning bench is meant to stay clean.

This page explains the current placement policy as the product exists today. Open Model Lab uses manual placements only, and premium stays ad-free.

Current model

The free tier may show ads on selected discovery-oriented pages. Premium removes those ads and unlocks the existing premium study-power features described on the Pricing page.

When advertising is enabled, Open Model Lab uses manually placed Google AdSense display units. The site does not use Auto ads as its primary ad strategy.

The intent is simple: ads can support public browsing and discovery without interrupting the actual science-learning interaction.

Allowed placements

Home page
Concept library
Topic directory
Guided collections landing page

Protected learning surfaces

Interactive concept lab pages
Simulation stage, controls, and graphs
Compare mode, prediction mode, and worked-example flows
Challenge pages and challenge interactions
Share tools, pricing, account, auth, and developer harness pages

Provider note

Google AdSense is the current provider path when ads are turned on. Local testing may show only the slot scaffold or a provider request without a filled creative.

If advertising is disabled or unconfigured, Open Model Lab renders no live ad unit. The free tier still keeps access to the core concept library, simulations, tracks, and standard challenge mode.

Read Privacy for the related data note, or use Contact if you need to ask about the current ad policy directly.
