Account overview

Account

Signing in is optional. Supporter is a separate plan.

Stay signed out with local progress, or sign in to sync core learning progress across devices. Supporter adds saved study tools and ad-free browsing without changing the free learning model.

AccountOptional sync

Returning users with a password can sign in directly. First-time users and passwordless users should start with an email link.

Stay signed out and keep progress local to this browser, or sign in to sync the same core progress snapshot across devices. Password sign-in is only for returning users who already set one. Email links stay available for first-time and passwordless accounts, and Supporter stays separate from all three auth paths.

Local-first

Stay signed out and keep this browser's progress exactly where it is.

Email links stay available

First-time and passwordless sign-in keep using the same confirmation flow.

Signed-in sync

Any confirmed account syncs the same core progress snapshot across devices.

Returning user sign-in

Use a password only if this account already has one.

Use this only if the account already has a password. First-time and passwordless accounts should use the email-link card instead.

Password must be at least 8 characters

If this account never set a password, do not force this form. Use the separate email-link or password-reset flow instead.

Password reset

Reset a password for an existing account.

Use this only for an existing account that already used password sign-in. The reset email lands on the same in-browser new-password step used by the rest of the app.

Supporter

Supporter adds saved study tools and ad-free browsing

You can keep browsing core concepts and browser-local progress without an account. Signing in turns on account-linked progress sync. Supporter adds saved setups, saved compare setups, saved study plans, exact-state setup sharing, richer review and remediation, and ad-free browsing.

Sign in only if you want to save and sync the same core learning progress across devices later. Supporter checkout stays separate.
